Richard J. Dewey

President and CEO, New York Independent System Operator — Richard Dewey is president and chief executive officer of New York Independent System Operator. Dewey joined NYISO in 2000 and his roles have included product and project management, strategic software development and quality assurance. He spent several years in IT and network services for Husky Injection Molding Systems and Niagara Mohawk Power Corp. Dewey received a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University, a M.S. in computer engineering from Syracuse University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s General Management Program.
