💵 Budget talks move closer to a deal, fourth extender passes
💰 Gov. Kathy HOCHUL and leaders from both the Senate and Assembly didn’t announce a deal on the state budget Friday afternoon.
But that doesn’t mean a deal isn’t close.
Hochul, Assembly Speaker Carl HEASTIE, and Senate Majority Leader Andrea STEWART-COUSINS met to continue talks on Friday.
And multiple sources familiar with those discussions told me it went very well.
