🗣️ Eric Adams tiptoes around Trump, assails reporters in press briefing
After giving his full-throated endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris this summer, New York City Mayor Eric Adams wouldn’t even say her name during a press briefing Tuesday.
It was a particularly combative conversation between reporters and Adams, who’s been critical of the city’s press corps in the past. He dialed that up on Tuesday when he repeatedly assailed reporters in the room over what he claimed was biased and uninformed reporting on his administration.
“Let's stop acting like all of you have a halo over your head,” Adams said during one of a few heated exchanges. “You bring your personal opinions into these conversations.”
