Good morning — It’s Saturday and Sangria Day.

In today’s CapCon:

  • Gov. Kathy Hochul issued her final batch of vetoes and approvals for the hundreds of bills passed this year by the state Legislature. Two remain.

  • I compiled two full lists for you: the bills she signed and those she rejected.

Names in today’s CapCon: Gov. Kathy Hochul

💌 LAST CHANCE: State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins will join me at the Hearst Media Center in Colonie for an in-person interview at our Capitol Confidential Pro launch party on Jan. 6 in Albany. Reserve your spot here.

🖊️ Hochul has now acted on all but two bills passed by the state Legislature this year

I promise I’m not going to make a habit of emailing you on Saturday morning but I figured many of you wouldn’t want to wait until Monday for this.

Gov. Kathy Hochul issued decisions Friday night on most of the bills that remained on her desk. That was the deadline for her to act on them.

She technically signed 70 bills last night but there are two others that she had approved in the last three days as well. She vetoed 49 bills.

There is only one bill are two bills left for her to consider. Those would establish new judicial districts in western New York and require a prevailing wage for fabrication work in public projects.

If you’re not already a paid subscriber, you can treat yourself to a 7-day free trial of CapCon to get access to the lists I have below of those approvals and vetoes.
