🤪 Hochul calls Trump, Vance ‘weird,’ joining other Democrats
🗣️ The strategy is being employed by Democrats to frame the positions of Trump and Vance as out of touch with the general public.
Comments from Sen. J.D. VANCE — former President Donald TRUMP’s running mate — arguing that people without children have less of a stake in the country have been a hot topic this week.

Trump has defended those remarks but Democrats have seized on them as part of a new nationwide strategy to reframe the Republican party as … “weird.”
It’s part of their effort to divert undecided voters to their camp by characterizing certain policy positions and past comments as detached from average Americans.
It’s thought to have originated from Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, who called Trump and Vance “just weird” on television last week.
🤔 Now that messaging has made its way to New York.
Gov. Kathy HOCHUL has now jumped on the “weird” train, trying to flex her muscles as a surrogate for Democrats nationwide.
