⚖️ Hochul can’t escape congestion pricing two months after ‘indefinite delay’

🚗 The attorney general’s office has decided not to defend the Hochul administration in a lawsuit challenging her decision.

Democrats — particularly in Manhattan — are still not happy with Gov. Kathy HOCHUL.

It’s been about two months since she announced an “indefinite pause” of congestion pricing, the $15 toll that was set to take effect in the busiest parts of Manhattan last month.

  • The toll was intended to reduce traffic congestion and emissions while providing another revenue stream for mass transit in the city.

That decision has stuck to Hochul like syrup from a New York sugar maple.
