Hochul talked about New York’s gun laws Monday and said other states, and Congress, might want to give them a second look.

⚖️ Hochul says N.Y.’s ‘red flag’ gun law should go national
🗣️ She’s tried to position herself as a national leader on gun restrictions since the May 2022 mass shooting in Buffalo.
New York has among the strictest gun laws in the country but those rules end with the state’s border.
But that shouldn’t be the case, said Gov. Kathy HOCHUL, whose own views on gun restrictions have changed since she earned an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association while in Congress.
