🖋️ Hochul has cleared her desk ahead of the holidays
‘Twas the night before Sunday and all through my house, not a creature was stirring, not even my spouse!
The internet then gave my heart quite the scare, for Gov. Hochul had news to share.
Her staffers were working, against all their wills. And Hochul had signed more than 70 bills!
But that was not all, amid all the snow, 26 bills got the governor’s veto.

Hochul acted on 103 bills Saturday night, which finished the stack that was sent to her about a week prior. That means there’s nothing on her desk at the moment and only two bills are now left for her to either act on or pocket veto.
She signed 77 bills and vetoed 26, which you already know from the headline of this newsletter.
