It’s a scary time for some families in western New York, where state and federal regulators have started to relocate households after detecting hazardously high levels of radiation.
Gov. Kathy Hochul, meanwhile, is pushing back on comments from Tom Homan, border czar for President Donald J. Trump, on a planned ICE surge in New York City.
And, on that theme, several state and local officials on Monday started to apply more pressure on top Democrats in Congress to call for ICE’s abolition. Read what they said.
