🍁 Need for weed: state cannabis agency will get an overhaul, Hochul says

🍂 And the agency’s executive director was asked to step down from the agency. Hochul said he’s going to “pursue other opportunities.”

It’s no secret that New York’s burgeoning cannabis industry has had its challenges, but we now know that some of those roadblocks were within state government itself.

The anticipated report from the Hochul administration on why the state Office of Cannabis Management has been slow to process more retail licenses was released Friday.
