Good afternoon — it’s Wednesday, Patriot Day & the National Day of Service and Remembrance.

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 2024

TODAY’S CAPCON:

  • Republicans took aim during and after Tuesday night’s debate, but not just at Harris as she and Trump took the stage.

  • A claim that Haitian migrants are eating people’s pets in Ohio was repeated during the debate but it had already reached N.Y. Democrats.

  • On The Bill: After Cuomo’s COVID-19 testimony Tuesday, should N.Y. conduct another holistic pandemic review?

  • New Bills of Note: congestion pricing, painful procedures and library cards

🍂 Tonight’s Weather: Albany: Mostly clear, high 40s. New York City: Mostly clear, high 50s. (National Weather Service)

Republicans thought Trump made a strong case against Harris and that she was weak and unprepared.

That’s it. All done.

But Republicans from New York were also outspoken about two other people: the debate’s moderators.
