Kicking things off, a few state senators didn’t show up to votes on Hochul’s nominees needing confirmation before the end of session in June.

Three state senators missed confirmation votes on nearly every one of Gov. Kathy Hochul’s nominees this year. That includes two Democrats who were absent or excused for votes on 68 of the 69 appointees considered by the chamber.
