🗣️ We knew Hochul was set to speak at the Democratic National Convention but three other New Yorkers are delivering remarks as well.
At least eight New Yorkers are slated to speak at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this week, starting with at least four Monday night.
That’s a bit of a bump from 2020, when five New Yorkers spoke at that year’s convention, including former Gov. Andrew M. CUOMO — then well-known for his COVID-19 briefings.
But this year, it’s Cuomo’s successor who takes center stage: Gov. Kathy HOCHUL, who will have a brief speaking spot during evening programming.
Hochul gave a preview to the state’s delegates in Chicago Monday morning.
